This year’s ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo, 29 October - 1 November 2017 in San Diego, has a long lineup of workshops, educational sessions, and keynote speakers eager to share the most significant trends in pharmaceutical manufacturing. illumina is a company based in San Diego that specializes in manufacturing and marketing life science tools and systems to analyze genetic variations and explore DNA on a new scale. The company recently expanded their facilities on their Gold Triangle campus which will house research on oncology, genetics, and reproductive health operations. Since 1996, the Ballast Point Brewing Company has been a San Diego must-see with six different brewery locations in the San Diego area. Their Miramar location, which opened in 2014, features a 107,000 square feet brewery and tasting room.
