Match Requests Due by Sunday, 15 December 2024
By Sunday, 15 December, mentors and mentees will have the opportunity to request their preferred match through Mentor ISPE’s Mentee or Mentor profiles. Participants who haven’t selected or been matched by that date, don’t need to worry—the Mentor ISPE Core Committee will finalize any remaining matches to ensure everyone finds the right fit.
Mentorship Commitment:
- Mentor ISPE groups are encouraged to meet once a month for the duration of one year. However, the scheduling and format of your meetings are ultimately flexible, allowing the experience to be tailored to best suit scheduling and mentoring goals.
- Those assuming the role of mentors are also expected to join an ISPE Mentor Training session, and two ISPE Mentor touch-base meetings to provide real time feedback. More details are available below.

What is Mentor ISPE?
Mentor ISPE is part of Women in Pharma’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This mentorship program, designed by Women in Pharma members, aims to redefine the mentor-mentee relationship within the pharmaceutical industry. Through open communication and confidentiality, the program welcomes all industry members to participate. Over twelve months, international mentoring groups will engage in mutual learning, professional and personal growth, and contribute to shaping the future of the pharmaceutical sector.
Who can participate in Mentor ISPE?
Mentor ISPE is open to all professionals and students within the pharmaceutical industry. The program is inclusive and encourages participation from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience levels.
How are the mentor groups structured?
Mentor ISPE groups consist of a mix of industry professionals and students. Each group will have a senior industry professional acting as the mentor and someone assisting the mentor as the moderator. The focus is on building relationships, sharing knowledge, and discussing common topics of interest. This structure not only provides an opportunity for experienced professionals to mentor others but also allows students and recent graduates to contribute fresh perspectives on the future workforce.

Where are the Mentor ISPE forums?
The Mentor ISPE Forums are accessible through ISPE Engage. Once an application is processed and a role is assigned to a mentor or mentee’s profile, the mentor/mentee will automatically receive an invitation to join the appropriate forum. Mentors will gain access to the Mentor ISPE Mentor forum, while mentees will join the Mentor ISPE Mentee forum. These confidential forums provide a space to seek advice, exchange ideas, and connect with other program participants.
