ISPE’s “One ISPE” Initiative to Boost Chapter & Affiliate Growth

The strength of ISPE’s global network of Affiliates and Chapters is critically important in achieving ISPE’s mission to be the global industry leader in connecting pharmaceutical knowledge to deliver manufacturing and supply chain innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory insights to enhance industry efforts to develop, manufacture, and reliably deliver quality medicines to patients. Through the new “One ISPE” initiative, we aim to modernize and improve upon the rules governing ISPE Affiliates and Chapters, to help increase ISPE membership, grow ISPE’s footprint, strengthen ISPE’s global network and presence, and better position ISPE to serve its Members.

The “One ISPE” approach is straightforward and includes Improvements to ISPE Chapter and Affiliate Charters, which will take effect in 2022. These improvements include:

  • Creating a structure where all ISPE Affiliates and Chapters can benefit from each other’s work and knowledge base which will make it easier for every ISPE Affiliate and Chapter to grow and flourish
  • Providing new, smaller, and struggling ISPE Affiliates and Chapters with financial incentives and support to enable growth
  • Encouraging continued growth of more established ISPE Affiliates and Chapters through financial incentives and reduced restrictions.

This project was developed with input and guidance from more than 150 leaders representing 38 ISPE Affiliates and Chapters, as well as world-class Association consultants.
