Global Product Sustainability Manager
"Sophie has over six years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in Environmental Sustainability and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in environmental sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). In her current role as Global Environmental Life Cycle Assessment Manager at Takeda, Sophie is responsible for evaluating the environmental impact of Takeda's products and thereby playing a crucial role in enabling the company's product sustainability strategy.
Beyond her primary responsibilities, Sophie is an active member of the PharmaLCA Consortium, where eleven global pharmaceuticals have come together to develop industry wide Product Category rules and the development of an associated BSI PAS standard British Standards Institution, Publicly Available Specification, co-sponsored by the NHS England. Her involvement in this consortium underscores her commitment to advancing industry-wide environmental sustainability."
