Keith has over 25 years’ experience of driving operational improvements in engineering, manufacturing, facilities and building services. A Chartered Engineer and Chartered Energy Manager, Keith’s current position is leading the life science business unit for EECO2, a niche energy efficiency consultancy providing energy assessment, engineering and project management support to pharmaceutical and life science clients globally, mainly focused on HVAC systems. EECO2’s mission is to guide clients to realize significant energy reduction, whilst maintaining compliance and product quality requirements. He has worked with over 120 sites in places as diverse as, US, India, France, UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Australia and China.
Keith is a BSI committee member on TC209 developing the ISO 14644 standard. In addition he is the UK representative on the ISO committee developing international codes of practice for energy efficiency in cleanrooms (soon to be ISO 14644 part 16).
Previous roles included Energy & Environmental Sustainability Leader for Eli Lilly UK, where he drove sustainability improvements, achieving 30% improvement in energy efficiency, 50% reduction in water intake & zero waste to landfill target. This achievement resulted in Lilly being awarded the UK Carbon Trust Standard in 2009, the first major pharmaceutical company to achieve this standard, proving that he has in fact had a real job before becoming a consultant.
