Pre-Event
How can I register to become a virtual conference attendee?
All upcoming ISPE Conferences can be found on the ISPE Website. Navigate to the conference you wish to attend virtually. Click the Register button at the top, choose your registration category to view the details, and select the Register button. You will be asked to log-in, either with your existing ISPE credentials, or you’ll need to create an ISPE account. Once you log in, you will follow the steps to complete your registration and pay.
How will I access the virtual conference platform?
After registering, you will receive access instructions via email two weeks before the conference begins. The virtual conference platform will also go live online and be available for you to visit via the ISPE conference webpage 2 weeks prior to the conference. You will use your ISPE account credentials to gain access to the virtual conference platform.
When will I receive access to the virtual conference platform?
Access to the virtual conference platform will be available two weeks prior to the conference.
Are all sessions live-streamed on the virtual conference platform?
No, not all sessions are live-streamed during the conference. Look for the icon on the ISPE conference agenda webpage to identify which sessions will be live-streamed .
Will I have access to session recordings on the virtual conference platform?
Yes, as a virtual conference attendee, you can access session recordings. Recordings are available within three weeks after the conference ends, for 90-days. You will receive an email once the on-demand platform is live, with the necessary instructions to gain access. The on-demand content, including all session recordings and handouts will be hosted on the same platform as the virtual conference. You’ll need your ISPE account credentials to gain access.
Will I be able to ask questions through the virtual conference platform?
Yes, during select sessions, use the Question button to submit your questions to the in-person speakers. Virtual attendees may also chat with other conference attendees and ISPE staff via the Chat feature.
What should I do if I encounter technical issues with the virtual conference platform?
Within the virtual conference platform, there is a “Technical Support” option in the navigation that will connect you with a live person to troubleshoot any technical issues you’re experiencing during the conference. In addition, in the Session Player, there is a “Technical Support” box to connect you directly with a tech to troubleshoot any issues you’re having viewing the broadcast of a session.
How long will I have access to the session recordings on the virtual conference platform?
You will have access to session recordings and PDF handouts for 90 days once the on-demand content becomes available within 3 weeks after the conference concludes.
Can I view the list of conference attendees through the virtual conference platform?
Yes, find the Attendee List tab on the left-hand side of the screen to view registered attendees.
During & Post Event
What do I need to do on the day of the virtual event?
On the morning of the event, you will receive a reminder that will contain similar information as the Know Before You Go email that you will have received one week prior to the event. This email will contain a link that will direct you to login for access to the virtual conference website. Here, you will want to proceed to the Agenda tab, and click Attend Session to enter the session. You will be able to access the sessions 15 minutes before the session starts. After each session, that Session Player will close and the event page will still be open.
When will the agenda be available?
The agenda is currently available – view it now and start planning your virtual experience. Prior to the virtual conference, you will receive an email with your login details to access the virtual conference website. On the agenda page, you will be able to select the sessions you’d like to attend to build your custom agenda for the virtual conference.
Will there by multiple sessions be going on at the same time?
Like an in-person conference, sessions are scheduled to run concurrently. However, only one live streamed session will be available to watch at a time. Review the agenda to see all of the session topics and speakers. Don’t forget, you will have access to all educational session recordings on demand for 90 days after the event.

Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?
Yes! For all live streamed sessions, you will be able to see the speaker and the PPT slides being presented.
Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?
The login link created is unique to each person who is registered for the conference. For every paid registration to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference.
What are the technical considerations for participation in the virtual conference?
You will need a device (desktop, tablet, or a mobile phone) that is connected to the Internet. Prior to the start of the virtual conference, you will receive an email providing detailed instructions on how to connect to the virtual conference website.
Do I need Zoom or Microsoft Teams to participate in the virtual conference?
TWe recommend that you download Zoom Client for Meetings ahead of time. The web browser client will download automatically when you start or join your first Zoom meeting, but we recommend that you manually download it prior to the conference using the link above. Although you do not need to download the Zoom application to participate—you can run the meeting in your browser by clicking “join from your browser” at the bottom of the page—the viewing experience is better through the app.
Will I have access to session handouts on the virtual conference platform?
Yes, attendees can access a session’s PDF handout by clicking the Resources box while watching the live-streamed session. All sessions handouts, regardless of if it’s being live-streamed, can be found on the virtual conference platform under the View Session Handouts tab on the left-hand menu.
Can I watch the sessions in real-time on the virtual conference platform?
Yes, all live-streamed sessions are available for real-time viewing on the platform.
Can I access the live-streamed sessions and handouts on my mobile device?
Yes, by using the free ISPE Mobile App and navigating to the conference page, attendees can select to watch Live-Streamed Sessions and View Handouts.
Can I download the handouts on my mobile device?
No, when viewing the PDF handouts on a mobile device, like a phone or tablet, you can only view them, not download them to the device. Handouts can only be downloaded when accessing them on a computer.
There will be keynote sessions, concurrent educational sessions, panel discussions and more. For each live streamed session, you will see the speaker and their PowerPoint presentation. At the end of each presentation in the session, attendees will have an opportunity to engage in live Q&A with the speakers, facilitated by the in-person Session Leader/Moderator.
Will sessions be pre-recorded or live?
Sessions available to watch on the conference platform are live, not pre-recorded.
Will I be able to move from session to session during the conference?
No, only one live streamed session will be available to watch at a time. Review the agenda to see all of the session topics and speakers. You may also download handouts for all presentations, even if they are not being streamed live.
