During the Membership Breakfast and Awards on Tuesday, ISPE recognized distinguished awardees for their exceptional contributions to ISPE and the pharmaceutical industry. Below are a couple of the winners - view full list of 2017 International Honor Award recipients.
The 2017 Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) overall winner was announced during the Membership Breakfast and Awards on Tuesday morning. Congratulations to Eli Lilly and Company for taking home this distinguished honor. Key female executives in the pharmaceutical industry led a series of education sessions, sharing with attendees their journey from both a personal and a professional perspective. In addition, the Women in Pharma Networking Community held six complimentary topic-focused dinners covering a variety of topics that provided priceless connections and insights.
In addition to the education sessions, the Women in Pharma raised over $2,000 to go towards a scholarship for women pursuing careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
During the 2017 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo, ISPE announced the launch of the ISPE Foundation. The ISPE Foundation sponsors programs that enable ISPE to influence the future of the profession and supports technical education to prepare its members for tomorrow.
The International Student Poster Competition Awards honor the top undergraduate and graduate student posters from among finalists from student chapter competitions and as selected by the judges at the 2017 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo.
Congratulations to undergraduate winner, Maria de Abreau Pineda from Stevens Institute of Technology represented the New Jersey Chapter and 2017 graduate winner, Tanvi Joshi from Campbell University represented the Carolina–South Atlantic Chapter.
Attendees had the opportunity to discover 200+ companies showcasing cutting-edge technologies and critical services designed to address their most challenging problems.
