Associate Lecturer
Roberto Barriga received a BS in computer engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, Spain, and an MBA from ESADE Business School in Spain. He is currently pursuing his PhD in computer engineering at Universidad Politecnica de Valencia. Roberto has more than 20 years of experience working in multinational companies (Nokia, Procter & Gamble, Almirall) in different countries with different senior IT positions. He is also an Associate Lecturer at several business schools such as Zigurat Business School, where he teaches different subjects related to Industry 4.0. He led the implementation project IOT Drier Analytics in the pharmaceutical company Almirall, with the aim to improve the drug manufacturing process and reduce energy consumption using AI techniques. The project was selected as one of the top 100 ideas of the year in 2021 by the magazine Actualidad Economica, Spain, within the Industry 4.0 category.
