Duncan R. Thompson has 25 years of experience in analytical chemistry and PAT, leading a team at GSK that developed and implemented many PAT ap-plications in both batch and continuous processes covering API and DP. He has expertise in PAT supporting process development and the validation and registration of applications for control strategies. He represented GSK on a European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations team for regulatory advocacy with EMA. More recently, he joined CatSci as Analytical Team Leader, where he is expanding analytical capabilities, including PAT, to deliver innovative process research and development.
