Dave DiProspero

Senior Fellow | Director of Pharmaceutical Process Technology
Dave has 25+ years of Pharmaceutical Engineering experience, specializing in internationally regulated Oral Solid Dose Form (OSD) GMP manufacturing facilities. With a strong process, equipment, containment, material handling and facility integration background, his practical experience covers master planning, conceptual through detailed design and engineering, procurement, qualification and expert consultation.

Dave is well versed in industry trends, the drug development process and emerging technologies, including Continuous Manufacturing. He was the steering committee manager/contributing author to the ISPE OSD Baseline Guide - 3rd Edition (released Dec '16).

Dave has worked as an owners-representative for pharmaceutical firms, as well a direct employee for various equipment/technology suppliers and engineering firms. He is currently Associate/Director of Pharma Process Technology for CRB, where he provides professional consultation, engineering services and OSD Subject Matter Expertise to their clients.

Dave is a long term member of ISPE, having chaired numerous committee's over the years including, most recently, the Facility of the Year Award (FOYA) Committee. He is actively involved as a steering committee member for the OSD-COP and is the co-leader for the OSD Continuous Manufacturing Subcommittee. He frequently speaks and writes on various industry topics and was the recipient of the 2006 ISPE Max Seales Yonker Member of the Year award.

Dave resides in Southern New Jersey, with his wife Peggy. For fun and stress relief, he is a part time musician/lead singer/GM, for the Classic Rock Band, Right Turn at 40.
