Clarence has 30 years of small molecule drug substance experience. He is a Technical Manager - Process Engineering at GSK's New Product Introduction campus at Jurong Singapore since April 2000, supervising a team of process engineers responsible for technical transfer (and validation) of investigational new drugs, implementation and maintenance of PAT and modeling applications, facility-equipment design, selection, commissioning and qualification. His key achievements include implementation of two continuous manufacturing processes and facilities, successfully led the technical transfer of 8 investigational new drugs and marketed drug substances (including regulatory submission), commissioning and qualification of two multi-product production facilities. He is also an experienced product steward and is passionate about continuous manufacturing, Quality by Design principles and Pharma 4.0 adoption. He has a Bachelors of Chemical Engineering (Hons) and an MBA.
