Aoife Hamill, BEng, MSc, a chemical engineer, graduated from University College Dublin in 2005. Since 2017, she has been the Process Engineering Director at FDT Consulting Engineers and Project Managers, where she works on a variety of process projects; energy efficiency in the pharmaceutical industry is a core focus. Aoife holds a masters of science in renewable energy and energy management and an IBD distilling diploma. She has fulfi lled the role of Energy Efficient Design Expert across a number of large projects in the pharmaceutical and distilling sectors. She published two research projects funded by the Irish EPA in 2011 and 2015, which investigated industrial CO2 recovery and reuse to reduce emissions and the most efficient treatment of distillery coproducts, respectively. She has been a member of ISPE since 2011.
