Vanya Telpis

Vanya Telpis is a Director of Knowledge in McKinsey & Company. She has been working since 2005 with multiple pharmaceutical and medical device companies on quality and compliance topics. Vanya leads McKinsey’s POBOS Quality proprietary benchmarking of quality performance, total quality cost and drivers of good quality. She is a member of the ISPE Quality Metrics Initiative and facilitated the 2014-2016 pilot. She recently led a collaborative with MDIC to evaluate the cost of quality in medical device industry. Vanya is an expert on quality metrics, cost of quality, quality culture and organizational models and is a lead author and editor of McKinsey’s 2014 book “Flawless: From measuring failure to building quality robustness in pharma”. Vanya received her MBA in Operations from Wharton Business School.
