Timothy D. Pletcher, PE

Tim Pletcher, P.E. is an Associate Senior Consultant Engineer in the Eli Lilly and Company Process Engineering Center. He currently supports the global Lilly oral solid dosage and small-molecule bulk drug substance manufacturing networks. Tim graduated from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering and earned a master of science in chemical engineering from Purdue University. Since joining Lilly in 2000, Tim has worked with development and manufacturing colleagues to introduce new manufacturing technology and to scale up, optimize, and technical-transfer manufacturing processes at many different plant sites within the company. Most recently, he has been a lead process engineer involved in the introduction of a GMP continuous direct-compression technology platform into two separate Lilly commercial oral solid dose facilities. Tim is a registered professional engineer in Indiana.
