Thomas Hiltbrand

Thomas Hiltbrand is the Founder and Managing Director of Crypto Pharma GmbH, where he is pioneering unit level traceability solutions within the pharmaceutical value chain. Thomas combines strategic insight with hands-on technical proficiency with more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly in fill and finish operations and the enhancement of digital capabilities. Prior to founding Crypto Pharma he served as Site Head and Head of Operations at Lonza AG, where he successfully transitioned the Stein site into a fully independent entity and led major strategic initiatives following its acquisition from Novartis. Thomas holds an MSc in Production and Operations Management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and started his career at Novartis where he held different senior positions in Development and Technical Operations.
