Thomas is the Global Head of Operations for the Cell and Gene Technologies Business Unit at Lonza Pharma & Biotech, the leading global CDMO. In his role, Thomas is overseeing process development, clinical and commercial manufacturing at Lonza`s Cell and Gene Therapy plants in the US, Europe and Asia. Prior to his current role, Thomas held several technical and commercial positions of increasing responsibility including Global Head of Sales and Program Management. As a senior executive at Lonza, Thomas has been instrumental in driving innovation and growth of Lonza`s Cell and Gene Technologies business.
Thomas holds a PhD degree in Biochemistry from the University of Vienna and a MBA from the Rady School of Business, University of California, San Diego.
