Simone Schopf

Dr. Simone Schopf is curently Group Manager for Biotechnological Processes at Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP. Simone studied Biology at Regensburg University, Institute for Biochemistry, Genetics and Microbiology, where she obtained her Ph.D. in Microbiology. Then she did R&D research for the industry. Simone completed her Post-Doctorate at TU Freiberg, Institute of Biosciences and held a short-term lecturer position for "Biotechnology in Mining" at German Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology in Ulaanbaatar.
