Takeda
Head of Tech Services Neuchatel
Passionate about Biotechnology and more than 20 years experience in Biologics, currently Head of Manufacturing Sciences department at the Neuchatel Biomanufacturing Site at Takeda Pharmaceuticals.I joined Takeda in 2015 after several leading positions at Novartis in the Biologics Operations for 15 years. I am convinced that the crucial mission for a leader is to create the context of success by building reliable collaboration connections with stakeholders and teams supported by strong and sustainable delivery of results using innovation as a strong enabler. Recombinant Protein manufacturing is complex and significantly subject to variability coming from cell culture or purification. Indeed, even traces of foreign elements in raw materials or slight changes in chemical conditions in purification can generate out of limits results. This is why it is crucial for the biologics manufacturing industry to use the potential of the AI to better understand, identify and control such variability. New technology introduction like PAT or Digital Models is key and could become a game changer for us to accelerate and get beyond what science is telling us about our processes.
