Robert Herbst, PhD

Bob has been at ImmunoGen for 8 years and has served in different roles with increasing responsibility including conjugation development and manufacturing sciences. Currently, he leads the Process Development team, which spans development and support of manufacturing processes through process validation. In addition, Bob is the mirvetuximab soravtansine CMC Scientific Lead. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, after which he completed post-doctoral training at Boston University. Outside of work, Bob enjoys his family of five, especially cooking with the kids and tinkering on home-improvement projects.
