Richard Kramer is CEO of Capital Project & Facilities Services (CPFS, inc.), a Kenosha, WI based consulting firm providing capital project information management services to the highly regulated biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing facility construction industry. Prior to the founding of CPFS, Rick spent 16 years in this field and 10 years in the related food, dairy and beverage industry. During this time, he held senior positions for process engineering and design firms including CRB Consulting Engineers and the Tri-Clover division of Alfa Laval, as well as component and process systems fabricators like Marten-Petersen, ITT, PureFlo-MPC division and Advance Aseptic Technologies, (a subsidiary of Thomsen). His multi-discipline project management resume includes successful projects for domestic firms Pfizer (Kalamazoo, MI), Sigma Chemical (St. Louis, MO), and Kraft Foods (Northbrook, IL) as well international companies Sanofi-Aventis (Paris, France), Novartis (Basel, Switzerland). Kramer attended the University of Wisconsin Parkside for Computer Science and Engineering, and Gateway Technical College for Industrial Marketing. Rick has been awarded four United States Patents pertaining to sanitary process equipment and systems. He also participates with the ISPE and ASME BPE committee.
