Raman Srinivasan

Raman Srinivasan is currently responsible for manufacturing operations at Biocon, specifically focusing on the production of Monoclonal Antibodies and therapeutic proteins. These facilities employ mammalian cell culture & microbial synthesis based processes. Srinivasan has about 20 years of industrial experience. During this tenure he has been a part of multiple disciplines – R&D, process engineering, facility design, project implementation and manufacturing operations. He has two international process patents to his credit. Srinivasan has a Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering. He completed his post graduation (M.Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT,Delhi) specializing in “Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology”.
