Pia Rose Belarmino joined the government service, FDA Philippines, in 1990 as a GMP inspector a few years fresh from college. She honed her inspection skills through various trainings and seminars.
In 2018, the Drug GMP Task Force was created with her taking the responsibility as its Drug GMP Manager.<br/><br/>
A bona fide Pharmacist, Pia Rose Belarmino is an alumna from the UST College of Pharmacy. She completed her post graduate studies at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila for Masters in Government Management. She accumulated 29 solid years in government service and rose from ranks where her vast experiences and performance in the field of GMP inspections, monitoring, and even enforcement of foods, drugs, cosmetics and devices were commendable.
