Philipp Bayer

Philipp Bayer holds a degree in Biology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. After conducting research in various fields of biotechnology, he transitioned into a freelance career as a data scientist and data acquisition designer. In 2019, Philipp joined Rommelag Innovation Lab (iLabs), where he now serves as the Product Owner of Rommelag’s Pharma Platform (RPP). In this role, he leads the development of foundational technologies for Pharma 4.0 integration of Rommelag machines and a suite of applications, interfaces, and services tailored to both digital beginners and advanced users. As a member of the iLabs strategy board and an active contributor to conferences and industry guidance papers, Philipp shapes the company’s strategic direction while ensuring alignment with industry standards, transforming collaborative knowledge with industry leaders and followers into practical insights that drive the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing and digital transformation.
