Patrick McKelvey

Patrick (Pat) McKelvey has an extensive 34-year background in architecture, construction, and project management. Design project experience includes life sciences, biologics, pharmaceuticals, research and development laboratories and facility campuses with project experience in the expansion and upgrade of programs for major biotech/pharma clients, and covers all aspects of architectural design from Master Planning through Detailed Design and Construction Administration services. He is qualified to meet the challenges of FDA cGMP and EU guidelines for compliant facility layouts, and highly skilled in coordinating complex design issues to ensure safety and code compliance with hazardous production materials. Pat embraces collaboration and partnering with the client, design team, and contractors to build strong project teams, and has strong project management, code, and constructability knowledge founded on over 10 years of construction experience gained prior to entering architecture. Pat holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Boston Architectural Center, and is a registered architect in 12 states.
