Patrick Markey

I am a member of the Janssen API Cell and Gene Therapy group specialising in the tech transfer of gene-based therapies within the organisation and with external partners. I currently work on process validation for gene-based therapies, however, I have five years’ experience in downstream process development and tech transfer for monoclonal antibodies. I have worked on both gene and protein-based therapies at all stages of their lifecycles from early development through to validation and commercialisation. I have a biotechnology masters from University College Cork and a neuroscience undergraduate degree from University College Dublin.
