Nadira is a chartered Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer at Scitech Engineering, with over 26 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science sectors working within multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of complex projects. Nadira's expertise includes building services and mechanical design for laboratories, pilot plants, cGMP manufacturing, Radiopharmaceuticals, and high containment facilities including CL3 / CL4 facilities. Past experience includes computational fluid dynamics simulation and dynamic thermal modelling of the built environment, as well as being an accredited low carbon consultant. Nadira has a particular interest in building energy performance and the design of energy-efficient buildings. Nadira is focused on Sustainability and Net Zero Carbon design and has applied these skills on recent projects including The Pirbright Institute, Oxford University, UKRI, and Pfizer. Within Scitech Engineering, Nadira leads the Sustainability Working group, which is looking at ways to reduce carbon footprint and promote better sustainability for Scitech, its supply chain partners, and its clients.
