Mr. Sean P. McKee

Sean McKee is a Partner at PharmaBioSource, Inc., a Life Sciences consulting and M&A firm. Mr. McKee joined PharmaBioSource in 2004 after his 15-year career at Merck & Co. With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. McKee is an expert in consulting, M&A, facility transactions, due diligence, capital planning and project management. Mr. McKee has significant experience in the sale and acquisition of pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing facilities and businesses and has conducted a number of M&A due diligence studies for the Life Sciences investment community. In addition, as Associate Director of Capital Planning and Management for Merck, Mr. McKee was responsible for the planning and construction of new and renovated research laboratory facilities valued at over $850M. Mr. McKee also managed the operations of several Merck research sites in the U.S. and Europe with annual operating budgets of over $300M in his role as Associate Director of Business Operations. Mr. McKee holds a B.S. degree in Organic Chemistry from Ursinus College and, in addition to his business experience, he spent 5 years as a medicinal chemist at Merck working on HIV protease inhibitor and cancer research and development programs and has co-authored 14 scientific journal publications.
