Mr. Samuel H. Kitchell

Sam Kitchell is Chief Operating Officer of CRB. In this role, Sam is responsible for leading integrated regional and global technical operations to continuously client services. He also leads strategy development for business operations, overall quality and project delivery efforts. He balances the need for operating efficiencies with continuously developing technical talent and providing high-quality solutions to clients. Prior to joining CRB, he served as Group Vice President of Engineering for Shire, where he led the company’s global team of more than 1,600 employees, overseeing engineering and validation operations at multiple manufacturing sites across seven countries and leading the corporate capital program. Before that, Sam held engineering Senior Director and Vice President roles at global biotech companies Baxalta and Baxter Healthcare. Kitchell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Illinois.
