Morihiko Takeda is the founder and CEO of Pharma Solutions Co., Ltd., where he provides strategic consultation and engineering services in aseptic processing, containment technologies, and GMP compliance. Prior to founding his current company, he was Senior Engineering Manager in construction projects for a wide variety of parenteral drug and oral solid dosage facilities for a global engineering company. He has over 30 years of experience in engineering for pharmaceutical facilities. Specifically, he has extensive experience in engineering for the pharmaceutical manufacturing of highly potent products. He is co-author of the ISPE Baseline® Guide: Risk-Based Manufacture of Pharmaceutical Products. He served as a member of the ISPE Containment Community of Practice (CoP) Steering Committee, director of the ISPE Japan Affiliate, and leader of the ISPE Japan Containment CoP. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Saitama University in Japan. He joined ISPE in 1998.
