Monica attended University of Liverpool where she holds a PhD degree in Reaction Engineering, a Master of Science (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico.
