Michael Laird

Mike Laird, Ph.D., is the Senior Director & Principal Scientist, Head of the Cell Culture group within the Pharma Technical Development - US Biologics organization of Genentech/Roche. He has worked at GNE for ~16 years. Briefly, his group is responsible for clinical and commercial CHO and E. coli cell line development, early- and late-stage process development, reagent production, Toxicology production at pilot-scale, all phases of GMP production, tech transfer & CMC sections of Health Authority submissions. Mike has authored/co-authored +35 peer-reviewed publications, patents and book chapters.
