Massimiliano Cesarini holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna. After a research period at the University of California he started his professional career in the energy generation field before moving to Comecer Group in the 2009 where he held positions as Project Manager first, Product Manager and finally as Global Sales Manager for the Pharma&ATMP Division. In January 2021 he moved to Romaco Group where he has taken the role of Sales Director with responsibility of the sales and BD for the Italian brands of the group which are Promatic and Macofar. In June 2023 he joined Omnia Technologies Group with the aim to lead the the newly established Life Science Division. Member of the ISPE since 2009, he is currently chairing the Sterile Product Processing Community of Practice.
