Mark D. Johnson currently works at AbbVie Inc as a Research Fellow within the CMC Statistics Department, with more than 28 years of statistical and quality engineering experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Since 2007, he worked for Abbott Laboratories and AbbVie as a Quality Manager (Statistics), Principal and Senior Principal Research Statistician, as well as a QA Statistician for bulk drug and hospital products divisions at Abbott (1996-2003) and a Senior Product Quality Engineer for medical devices at Hospira (2003-2007).
Mark earned a Master of Arts degree in Statistics at Loyola University of Chicago and actively participates in AAPS, ISPE and ASQ. He holds ASQ certifications in Quality Engineering and Managing Quality and Organizational Excellence and earned the Project Management Professional certification from PMI.
