Marcella brings nearly two decades of experience in the AEC industry, having worked on financial analyses of redevelopment projects out of college and stretched her industry network while at the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office. Following the Great Recession, Marcella joined Ferrovial where she built strategic joint ventures for mega-scale civil infrastructure P3 pursuits and most recently expanded Bernards’s portfolio into adjacent markets, including affordable housing, modular housing, and social infrastructure P3 projects.
Marcella earned an MBA from Cornell University, graduated cum laude from San Diego State University, and is Associate DBIA certified. An avid outdoor adventurer, Marcella has summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,430 feet), trekked the Chilean Patagonia’s Torres del Paine O Circuit (70 miles) with unpredictable inclement weather influenced by neighboring Antarctica, and hiked the 112-mile alpine Tour du Mont Blanc route across France, Italy, and Switzerland in a short eight days. She dreams of endless terrain to cover.
