Marcel is educated as chemical engineer at University Twente (NL) and since he joined DPS Leiden in 1998 he always worked in the field of pharmaceutical engineering. Employers included Miniplants (pharma skid building) and Actemium. In 2013 he joined Bilfinger Tebodin as a pharmaceutical specialist. All those years he was a member of ISPE and a frequent attendee of ISPE-NL events or company visits.
In 2019 he joined the ISPE management board. Back then the intention was to contribute to an active ISPE NL affiliate which would provide members the opportunity to acquire know-how and to meet co-workers in the field. As we all know something came in between but as the Covid situation eases it is time to pick up the pieces and again make ISPE NL work.
In my spare time I like to play the cello or to be engaged in photography, not only digital but also “analogue”, sometimes I develop a film roll (make me feel a chemist again).
