Mags Dalton

Mags Dalton (BSc, MA, MSc) is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of diverse experience across multiple sectors but in particular the Pharmaceutical sector. She is an Associate Director and the Group Head of Smart Manufacturing at PM Group. Mags has been instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives for clients and has grown the Smart Manufacturing consultancy team and combined capabilities from the Automation, Data Analytics and Digital Transformation teams to create client service revenues in areas including digital operations workshops, data visual solutions delivery, logistics dash boarding, conditional maintenance, control system digital twins, amongst others. Mags is proposing to share the speaking slot with either Gareth Alford from AstraZeneca (AZ). She has worked with AZ on their next-generation active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing facility for small molecules near Dublin and she and AZ will provide an overview of the practical considerations for designing pharmaceutical facilities in line with Pharma 4.0 principles and will present specific relevant examples where early design decisions supported Pharma 4.0 ambitions.
