Leif Poulsen, PhD

Leif is a Global Technology Partner within Automation & IT at NNE Pharmaplan in Denmark. Leif has specialised on Manufacturing IT Systems and Advanced Automation & IT Solutions and how they can support current & future business objectives. For 6 years, Leif worked as a research fellow and an assistant professor at the Technical University of Denmark within Computer Simulation, Computer Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacturing and for about 10 years he worked as an Automation & IT consultant for various industries. For more than 20 years Leif has worked at NNE Pharmaplan where he is responsible for development of technology, methods & competences within Automation & IT and work as a senior business consultant for customers worldwide. He is an expert on business analysis and architectural/conceptual design of Automation & IT solutions including how to deploy such solutions effectively in a GxP regulated organisation. He is a certified TOGAF 9 Enterprise Architect. Leif is member of the ISA SP88 Batch Control Committee, ISA SP95 Enterprise/Control Integration Committee and a member of ISPE.
