Lan Zhang is a distinguished Facility Design and Construction Consultant at CENTURY 3 Shanghai Inc. With a career spanning over two decades, he co-founded the company in 2004 after gaining extensive experience with leading US engineering and construction companies.Mr. Zhang has a proven track record of successfully executing over ten complex projects funded by Western investors, covering sectors like theme parks, aerospace, automotive, and high-tech industries. His expertise in managing multicultural teams in China has been pivotal to these achievements.Currently, Lan leads the CENTURY 3 research institute, focusing on operational upgrades through digitalization for clients such as Merlin and GKN Aerospace. His past roles include Project Director for Disney Shanghai Resort, where he managed over 100 staff across two major lands, and for the BMW 15 U Project in Tiexi, Shenyang, overseeing a team of 100 and handling various construction aspects across over 1 million square meters.Lan's commitment to safety and punctuality has been evident in his work with strategic clients like SanDisk, Milliken, and Applied Materials, further solidifying his reputation as a reliable and effective project leader in the industry.
