Keisuke Shibuya, PhD

Keisuke Shibuya, Ph.D. has over 20 years experience in biopharmaceutical process R&D and manufacturing plant design. In 2009, he joined MIT’s Chemical Engineering as a visiting scholar, where he studied metabolic responses to IgG production in CHO cell cultures. Since then, he has focused on bioreactor scale-up, utilizing CFD and the design space concept.
