Kees Mensch brings over 30 years of experience in managing complex technical and IT systems across high-reliability industries such as aerospace and manufacturing. He holds a Master’s degree in Physics and currently serves as Head of IT at NecstGen, a cutting-edge facility based in Leiden, the Netherlands.

NecstGen specializes in Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), playing a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academic research and the pharmaceutical industry. Under Kees’ digital leadership, NecstGen has implemented a fully cloud-based IT infrastructure, enabling a strong focus on system functionality, scalability, and innovation—while minimizing operational overhead.

Kees also serves as Chair of the Pharma 4.0 Community of Practice within the ISPE Netherlands Affiliate. He recently contributed to the ISPE Pharma 4.0 Conference in Rome, where he shared practical insights on digital maturity and innovation in regulated environments.
