Katie Masterson

Katie Masterson is the Director of Manufacturing Operations at REGENXBIO, where she leads efforts to advance scalable, GMP-compliant production of REGENXBIO’s potential gene therapy products. Ms. Masterson previously served as the Company’s CMC lead and has more than 15 years of experience in biologics and gene therapy manufacturing. Prior to joining REGENXBIO in 2019, Ms. Masterson held roles at GSK and Human Genome Sciences (HGS) including oversight of cGMP compliance, process scale-up, quality systems, facility readiness, and strategic partnership management. Ms. Masterson earned her Masters in Bioscience Regulatory Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University and B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech.
