Kate Marshall is a 22 year old, senior undergraduate student at the University of New Hampshire who majors in Psychology and double-minors in Sales and Business Administration. She values the importance of connecting the values and mindset she has obtained as a patient advocate living with cystic fibrosis, into her professional, academic, and social lifestyle who is organized, diligent, optimistic, positive, and goal-focused.
Between the ages of 12-20 years old, Kate was hospitalized for multiple week long IV treatments over 22+ times, yet has been raised based off the mindset that “the victim never wins.” Kate was able to channel her naturally competitive nature to the soccer field where she met success being named Sport’s Illustrated High School Athlete of the Month. She has taken life head on as she rides the wave of science and major drug development within the CF Community. Kate has had the opportunity to publicly share her CF journey at multiple fundraising events, life science banquets, and was able to testify before the FDA on behalf of a drug approval to treat CF.
Today Kate was elected and currently serves as the 2021 President of Alpha Chi Omega, a nationally recognized sorority of 200 women at UNH and is also the member of the UNH Professional Sales Group. She looks forward to furthering her growing experience and knowledge of sales & strategy at a company focused on changing the lives of others while continuing to demonstrate to members of the CF Community to work hard no matter what obstacles lies ahead!
