Junyoung Park, PhD

UCLA
Assistant Professor, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Junyoung Park is Assistant Professor in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at UCLA. His research focus is on systems-level understanding and engineering of metabolic networks. He aims to apply this knowledge to solving energy and environmental issues (e.g., fuel and greenhouse gas) and to curing human diseases (e.g., cancer and diabetes). Before moving to LA, Dr. Park conducted postdoctoral research at MIT. Dr. Park received his Ph.D. and master’s in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, and bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
