Jon Steckelberg

Jon Steckelberg is an experienced project manager at University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals (UIP), where he collaborates with cross-functional teams in the development and manufacturing of custom pharmaceutical drug products. Jon has spent 13 years in the Nutraceutical field in positions ranging from Microbiology Technician to Product Development Coordinator. After receiving his master's degree he transitioned to the Pharmaceutical world, spending 15 years as a Plant Manager for an API manufacturing company. He now works in the Business Development area at UI Pharmaceuticals. With a background in pharmaceutical operations and regulatory compliance, Jon has overseen multiple large-scale facility upgrades and equipment integrations. His expertise lies in translating operational needs into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with cGMP standards and client expectations. Jon played a pivotal role in coordinating the UIP-ICS collaboration, managing timelines, stakeholder engagement, and qualification protocols. He is passionate about driving innovation in sterile manufacturing and empowering teams to deliver safe, high-quality drug products.
