John McGee is an Engineering Director for Merck and the leader of the Global Engineering Solutions Merck Production System COE. He is a 28 year veteran of the bio-pharmaceutical industry and has held positions of increasing responsibilities in all aspects of Capital Project and Process Engineering. He has direct experience in the design, fabrication, and delivery of equipment and facilities for microbial, recombinant, and live virus vaccines, mAbs, and sterile liquid and powder filling.

He has a real passion for the work we do, and the value engineering brings to an organization. He believes we need deep knowledge within an organization in Process, Automation, and Facility Design to be able to deliver World Class Supply assets. He is a champion for new technologies, and works to shift mindsets to try new methods of facility design, execution and operation.
