John Noble

John Noble is Vice President and General Manager for Jacobs’ Global Life Sciences business the largest professional services provider to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, these operations provide planning, engineering, architecture, construction, commissioning, qualification, verification, operations, and maintenance for small, medium, and large scale projects. Prior to
serving as Vice President and General Manager, John has held a number of leadership positions within Jacobs, including Vice President of Global Quality, Director of Projects, Project Manager, and Regional Performance Manager. John has experience working in the US, Asia, and Europe.

Prior to joining Jacobs in 2001 John was a process engineer and principal consultant working for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, AMEC, and Foster Wheeler. Focus areas included mathematical modeling of chromatography operations and the design of flexible multiproduct bio process facilities. He has wide ranging experience in the design/delivery of state of the art biologic, fill and finish, API and cell/gene therapy facilities. John is also heavily invested in exploring the future of work and Pharma 4.0 especially in light of the current COVID – 19 pandemic.

John has served on the Board of Directors for the ISPE Great Lakes Chapter and recently was on the CEO
search committee. He earned his Ph.D. and has a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London and is a Fellow of the UK Institution of Chemicals Engineers. John lives with his wife and two children in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
