John A. Henderson, CChem, PhD, is Technical Communications Specialist at Britest Limited. He is a Chartered Chemist with an honors degree in applied chemistry from the University of Strathclyde and a PhD in polymer science from the University of Durham. John’s career encompasses roles in industrial research and development, management, training, and knowledge transfer activities. As Research and Development Manager for Chemdal Limited (later BASF) polyacrylate superabsorbents, John was responsible for several international process and product transfers and technical representation to major clients. He has also worked extensively in UK/EU collaborative innovation and coordination actions and knowledge transfer programs.
