John Byrne is Reliability Engineering Lead at MSD in Ireland. He has recently worked in Change Leadership, Business Transformation and Reliability Architecture roles, and has previously worked in Maintenance Management, Corporate Engineering SME and Asset Management Leadership positions. John has been awarded an Engineers Ireland MEETA Award twice and Global Multinational Innovation Awards three times for Asset Management & Reliability based projects. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction at the Institute of Technology Carlow and Master of Science in Reliability Engineering & Asset Management with First Class Honours at the University of Manchester. A proven SME in Reliability & Asset Management and Change Leadership, John has presented at many Global Asset Management Conferences including Pharma TechOps and Smart Digital Maintenance.
