Jerrod Shook

Jerrod is a well-known figure in the aseptic community with technical expertise in liquid filling, barrier isolation technology and component preparation equipment including sterilizers, parts washers, and stopper processing equipment. He has successfully completed a diverse range of projects for sterile products in vials and syringes for clinical and large scale production facilities.

Jerrod offers over 25 years of experience in the design, operation, and qualification of pharmaceutical equipment in full-scale production plants with a specialization in aseptic filling, packaging and washing/sterilization. His past experience includes working directly for two of the largest global pharmaceutical companies in the industry and for a sterile equipment supplier. This experience gives Jerrod a keen understanding of both the owner and the supplier side of the business which helps him understand client needs and how to help them reach their goals. Jerrod has a fundamental understanding of cGMP's and the inner workings of clean utilities, equipment prep, formulation, filling, isolation technology, visual inspection, and packaging. Jerrod's experience is international, with global support of production facilities in the United States, Europe and Asia.

He is an active ISPE member and has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State.
