Jeff Davis

Jeff Davis is the Vice President and Site Head of South San Francisco Manufacturing. His responsibilities include overseeing Operations, Technical Support, Warehousing & Logistics, and the associated business support functions to deliver Clinical Drug Substance, Clinical Drug Product, and Commercial Drug Product in support of Genentech and Roche’s biologics portfolio. His oversight includes the ISPE 2023 FOYA Overall Award Winning facility, where Jeff served as the User Team Lead and owner for the design, startup, and operation. With dual reporting lines to both Development (PTD) and Manufacturing (PTM), the Head of SSF Manufacturing defines the role of the site within Roche's global internal and external supply network, supporting both clinical and commercial products. Operating at the interface between R&D and Manufacturing, Jeff and his team facilitate the transfer of design and manufacturability knowledge between divisions and development stages throughout the end-to-end technical development and commercialization processes. Jeff has 24 years of experience across Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Sciences, Digital and Data Sciences, and Process Development. During his tenure at Genentech, Jeff has supported the manufacture of over fifty unique biopharmaceutical molecules across all stages, spanning early development, clinical supply, commercialization, technology transfer, and lifecycle management. Jeff holds BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
